You Sent Me a Wing
(by Marc Ledermann)
1. Was coming back alive from military craze.
I could not find a way, the crowd was never ending,
A swarm of bees in nuclear time.
A girl looked up and stared into my eyes.
Great master, you sent me a wing
To flee from my inner universe.
2. I was a greatful toy for love that's never handy.
But in this perfect world a plane is always landing.
She was your choice, your commendation,
But one who's blind can't read a picture book.
Great master, you sent me a wing
But this flop did not know how to fly!
3. So I did close my eyes to give a second chance,
But he just let me down, seemed all his might had gone.
A heathen spell spoilt our join.
All traffic lights turned into purple red.
Great master, you sent me a wing
But I guess resistance was too hard.
