Under the Pink Umbrella
(by Marc Ledermann)
Fontanes of music waving apart,
A crowd seemed to fill up its ears.
In my eyes was fascination
'cos she was the queen of the galaxy.
Then drops of water escaped from heaven.
She opened her umbrella and stood
Beside me under that old tree.
In her eyes something was born for me,
But so many eyes watching what we did.
Nobody could stop the flood from above.
Ooh under that pink, pink, pink umbrella
Ooh under that pink, pink, pink umbrella
There was a superhuman love,
That became not true that time.
A mighty wild storm inside this dreamer.
The music started playing again.
The rain had stopped falling so strong.
She'd recognized I was a shy boy,
Tried to give a chance at another place.
A dream of thunder that grew no wonder.
Ooh under that pink, pink, pink umbrella
Ooh under that pink, pink, pink umbrella
There was your superhuman love,
That became not true that time.
