She Came Down With Them
(by Marc Ledermann)

Why ain't there luck?
And another one's dead.
She had no friends.
So they asked her to come with them.
Pencil of mine,
Will you not sigh for her?
Ah, ah, ah, ahh.
She came down with them.

She felt so free
On their motorbike-trips.
She drank much beer
And she was often drunk with them.
They liked to steal
And they made love with her.
Ah, ah, ah, ahh.
She came down with them.

Why was it that blond life's end?
It lasted just twenty-one years.
Why did she choose such a life
That didn't contain a true aim?

They liked the drugs.
Yes, she did take 'em, too.
Needed some cash.
They began now to rob some stores.
Then the end came!
She took a big overdose!
Ah, ah, ah, ahh.
She came down with them.

When they had tried to revenge,
The dealer's cruel gang did shoot them.
They came all down to a grave
That finished their seedy, wild life.

Oh-ho-hoe
And so she came down with them.
Oh-ho-hoe
And so she came down with them.
Oh-ho-hoe
And so she came down with them.
Oh-ho-hoe
And so she came down with them.
